ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS:

We will take you through rural Niigata and Aizu Wakamatsu, the areas that are famous for high-quality local sake.

The Kojima Travel Consulting 2024 Sake Experience is a guided small group tour that will visit breweries in rural Japan. Additionally, we will tour popular sightseeing spots along the way. The tour will end in Tokyo after spending 2 nights exploring the exciting city!

We will gather in Tokyo for an orientation and welcome dinner, giving you the opportunity to meet fellow sake enthusiasts.

Niigata produces some of the finest sake in Japan. We will explore both mid-size and small breweries. Moreover, we will stop at a famous sake vending machine at Niigata train station to taste sake. Currently, there are about 100 selections to choose from.

We will visit Aizu Wakamatsu in Fukushima Prefecture, where there are many small, family-owned historical breweries.

Aizu Wakamatsu Castle: A famous historic castle, ranked #6 among the must-visit castles in Japan.

We will also explore Tokyo: Izakayas, wagyu beef, sushi, shopping, etc.
