Onsen

An onsen (温泉) is a naturally occurring Japanese hot spring that almost all Japanese enjoy and visit regularly. The term also extends to cover the bathing facilities and traditional inns frequently situated around hot spring. As a volcanically active country, Japan has thousands of onsens scattered throughout all of its major islands. Regularly visiting onsens are a fundamental part of Japanese culture that most people grow up experiencing. We can recommend many types of and locations of onsen to visit- for example there are beautiful and secluded onsen on the top of snowy mountains in Nagano and some deep in the luscious forests in Toyama. After bathing for a few days, your skin will feel amazingly smooth!
